Most of the time, a new release from Stereopony is like opening a present on Christmas morning as an adult and being happy either way. But this release harkens back to my childhood hoping for toys and getting clothes instead.
Stereopony can do ten thousand times better than this. Evan like in the video has proven that he's a stupid oblivious gaijin. He's not helping them, he's hurting them, becsuse he can't understand them and not realizing that he's causing the disaster. To me the video illustrates these circumstances clearly.
If this is the direction that Evanpony intends to go I'm going to sample before I buy, or wait to see what Aimi does.

"Stereopony can do ten thousand times better than this" That's what their 9th single Tatoeba did when collaborating with Kariyushi58. The single didn't even reach enough sales let alone make it onto the oricon charts. People were skeptical about their first collaboration (YUI not counted) and then either they were let down or just got over it. As much as I bash on the single, being my least favorite song, I still give it a listen or two once in awhile.
As for the song Just Rock With Me, I think it is pretty good better than Tatoeba at least. The music video I don't really care all that much as it is a two-three times watch thing so it doesn't affect me much. Most notably, Japanese music videos especially rock is either straightfoward or just random. Even American Rock music videos is bizzare to an extent, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the song still.
During post-recording the girls were worried about how the music would result in mostly negativity, but Evan said not to worry as much and just let it out. I like the fact that they didn't care which helped them express music in different ways though change isn't always a bad thing. Nothing wrong with having music in a variety.
Opinions are opinions I'll accept that matter. I'm sure many others feel somewhat of a letdown too. If Stereopony were still continuing, they'd probably just keep pushing foward forward.

I thought it was an okay song, Stand by Me was definitely the song that people will remember before the band breaks up. And was it just me or did I not really hear much of Evan's voice in the song? I felt like he was troll-bait...like, he was just there for the sake of being there. He didn't seem to add anything unique except his guitar bits, you know what I mean? And the music video...um...ad campaign much? LOL I liked the concept, but that brief pause...that should have been at the end of the music video instead of dead center in the middle of the song (that's just like how The Sopranos ended in mid-sentence). Well...rough start so far, but I do hope them well.

I'll be honest... I was actually expecting Evan to do a bit more of the vocals (instead of yelling "go" faintly in the background) and a bit more English. Boy was I wrong...
I noticed that they upgraded from using a PSP to a PS Vita. To me, the video reminded me of "OVER DRIVE" because of the car, the camera, and Stereopony acting, so I thought that was nice.
It's an ok song. Not as good as "stand by me" or most of the songs on "More! More!! More!!!" but still good nonetheless.
If you don't like "Just rock with me" then maybe you'll like the other song... It's purely just Stereopony. And I kinda like it a little bit more than "Just rock with me." I've almost forgotten how Stereopony sounded like when they aren't playing total rock songs...
I hope we get better variety in their final concert. I generally like their rock songs the most, but that doesn't mean I don't like their other songs.

(I'm a guitarist so I critique the guitar work in songs a lot) I've never heard Evan's guitar work before, but that intro guitar riff is quite ordinary, I didn't like the effects used, it seemed really easy to compose, not catchy enough.
I liked the song itself though, it's refreshing to hear Aimi's voice with a new song again I still can't imagine how they can possibly continue Evanpony without Aimi.
I personally think Evan's style would more suit Visual Kei type music. The intro sounds like it belongs in a Visual Kei song (my personal opinion) Only when Aimi starts singing is when it sounds like a Stereopony song
To be honest, I was expecting something like Avril Lavigne's music, not something like this Evan's guitar doesn't suit Stereopony to me

For my Opinion, Just Rock With Me Sucks...Y? It doesn't sounds like Stereopony and it Doesn't even sound Japanese... It sounds like a typical American songs... Stereopony Lost their touch in this song. Really hate it.... Jus to my opinion... It doesn't sound like them.. And the song is slow paced, not as fast as Stand By Me. I prefer Stereopony to play it fast paced Like Stand By Me Or OKAMI or Viva la Viva la.... Well Sad to say this is not Stereopony, It's EVANPONY....

Wow, so much bashing to the song. O_____O" Each to their own I guess. The song just lacked substance to me but I enjoyed it. The creativity in the PV is cute. THe song, I need a better listen since I paid more attention to the TV and not the song. It's seems more like a fun rock song, like you know, go-crazy-for-sake-of-it FUN.
