So I just heard of the news about poor Aimi having polyps in her throat. I hope she gets better soon!
But anyways while I was reading the news I also read that Shiho is learning english and polishing up her drum skills while Nohana is going to Korea to learn dance moves and vocal training.
Which leads me to believe that Stereopony might have a plan to re-invent themselves somehow or another.
What are your thoughts?
Currently I think that Stereopony should stay the way they are. They're pretty awesome and I see no changes necessary. I do believe that if the band ever changes their style its because they want to become a lot more popular and reach out to different fans.
Of course this is only pure speculation on my part.
GET WELL SOON AIMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the travel plans were made just so that NOHANA and SHIHO could focus their energy on bettering themselves while AIMI takes a rest.
It said that AIMI knew something was wrong back in March, which was 4 months ago. I'm betting that NOHANA's Korea trip was planned ahead of time and SHIHO's LA trip was planned during their first or second meeting with Evan. Otherwise, SHIHO would probably stay in Japan to practice drums. It doesn't really make a difference.
It makes sense... AIMI won't be at 100%, so NOHANA and SHIHO will have to be at their very best to support AIMI. So, using the next few weeks to hone their skills is the best way to do just that.
I'm actually glad NOHANA is practicing vocals. That means she'll have a mic in front of her again, instead of making SHIHO and MAO (or another support guitarist) do the back-up vocals. I think it would be kind of interesting too to see what kind of new dance moves NOHANA learns. If there's anything that Korean girl groups are good at, it's dancing...
And besides, if you've followed Stereopony since the beginning, you should know that their style changes a lot and they've been experimenting the last couple years. Their next single is gonna be a collaboration with Evan Taubenfeld. So in a way, Stereopony "reinventing" themselves isn't a new idea.
But yes... #GetWellSoonAIMI
And I hope NOHANA enjoys Korea and SHIHO enjoys LA. Now that we know that SHIHO may be here for a while, I'm wondering if I should try and locate her. haha hmm...

Yeup, excellent points. As probably obvious I haven't been following Stereopony from the beginning. Actually I'm more of a casual Stereopony fan. I enjoy their music a lot and I enjoy their lives. But its great to have a community like this one to keep fans like myself updated with information so I thank you guys for that.
I definitely agree with you on Nohana learning new dance moves from Koreans. HAHAHA.
I also wish you luck with getting in touch with Shiho. You guys from SoCal are so lucky.
And last but not the least, I'm sure we all wish that Aimi has a good recovery. Can't wait to see her back in action!
