...what would you say to them first?

For those of you who met them already, then what did you say/do? Do you wish you did something different?

I'll give my answer later on.

I met them at Sakura-con 2012 while getting their autographs. I was super pumped from the concert so I approached very happily and charismatic to them. I had them sign my Chiisana Mahou Limited Edition CD Cover. I showed that this picture was taken in Brooklyn where my hometown is (Brooklyn Bridge in the background). Aimi asked me if I came all the way from Seattle to come see them and I replied positively. I also talked with some Brooklyn-swag to indicate that I was really from Brooklyn lol. High fives and fist pumps followed. =)
Aimi is my official organ donor ;)

Well, I know Arc's answer to this question:

Take a picture with them at their behest!

See the front page of the main site for the story.

My first time running into them was in the streets of Seattle. It was right after I landed and was walking to my hotel when I ran into a group of what looked like asian tourists. At first glance I didn't know it was Stereopony because I only got a good looked at Mao (whom I did not know at the time). It wasn't until I saw Shiho's crazy wild hair that got me thinking "Hey that's Stereopony!" Before I realized they were too far for me to say hi.

Okay, well, actually Arc was asked to take a picture with and of the girls by our Sony contact who recognized him, and the girls obliged, but I hope the girls understand that we're not stalking them, we're covering them for the site.

Although I don't think Aimi was wearing the necklace we gave her...

@PickMex2: To be honest, when I walked in for the concert Nohana's hair and Mao's presence on stage threw me so off that I thought Stereopony was a opening act covering their songs until I realized, "No, I'm wrong, it's Stereopony because Shiho always has cool hair, and that's our beloved vertically challenged cutie-pie on the left!"

I will say (again) Nohana was rocking the Hino Rei look though. I should have told her that her favorite series was my introduction to Anime!

It's strange that I have things in common with the band, like Bleach (Aimi's a Shinigami devotee if she buys a whole magazine for one page of Bleach, and Shiho said she liked Bleach last year [specifically Hitsugaya-taicho, and Kenpaichi] I'm not sure what made them happier though, Bleach getting animated or having something they wrote featured IN Bleach...I think they said the all gathered on the couch and watched the premiere or something!

I'm turning into Drahc now, so I'll end this here...

I met them after the show at Amoeba on Monday. I just said "Good luck tomorrow too!" and "Thank you very much!" (both in Japanese) after getting my CD and poster signed. At the meet and greet before the Slim's show on Tuesday, I only got to say a quick "thank you" (again, Japanese) after taking a photo. My friend actually spent some time fiddling around with his camera, so I had a chance to say something while standing next to them, but didn't

I have had 3 or 4 "street" like encounters with Stereopony.

The first was in Boston last year at the anime convention. I was staying in the same hotel and on the same floor as Stereopony. I think they were about 4 doors down the hall from me. I rode up in the elevator with them after the concert. I was totally nervous/scared to be crammed into such a small space with them. Then Aimi started talking to me and I made the mistake of looking directly into her eyes! I got lost in those eyes and didn't notice when she stopped talking and was just looking at me. I just kept staring at her until the elevator doors opened! I wanted to shoot myself after for that. I did apologize and explain it later. Aimi just laughed.

Later, I ran into Shiho getting off the elevator while I waited to get on. She stopped and talked to me! She just asked how I was and what I thought about the show. I didn't freeze up that time and actually had a nice chat with her. Come to think of it, I also met Fonzy from Happy Days and the female voice actress who played Lynn Minmei in the original Macross in the same elevator. Wow, that was some magic elevator!!

I arrived a few hours early for the Ameoba record store show this year. I ran into all three of the girls seperately as they shopped in the store. I only said hello to Shiho and Nohana. I passed Aimi in the isles and said hello a few times. Aimi later saw me looking at the video games and stopped to talk. There was no interpreter, so we had to use my broken Japanese and her broken English to communicate. She asked me if I liked games. She also specifically asked if I played Pokemon. She seemed to really like talking about Pokemon. I am not sure what she said, but it was still awesome! We also talked about Yugio. Then her manager came and stole her away from me. I had managed to look into her eyes and not panic, so i was sad to end our conversation. :(

If I do get another street encounter, I think I would ask them to play My Mistake the next time they play in the US. That is my favorite song and they never play it live.
