Topic discussion about Stereopony's first album and their second one. Which one do you like more? If you pick one, explain why you like it better than the other. If you cannot decide, you can choose both which is fine, but I'd also like to hear a reason. Perhaps one song in one album you like more and in the other you like the least? I would also like a rating for the albums on a scale from 1-5, so 1 out of 5 meaning bad and 5 out of 5 meaning good. This means you have to rate both albums after making a selection.
Also, please remember this is just anyone's opinion so I do not want to see any argument or hate if someone likes "Happy A" for instance while another person does not.
I'll give my overview as an example on the two so everyone can see how this works.
(Note you don't have to write that much like I did, maybe about 3-4 sentences is fine. Just so I don't see some vague 1-2 sentence that took no effort to write to get post count. Please put some thought and effort!)

A Hydrangea Blooms vs Over The Border:
Personally I prefer A Hydrangea Blooms more over Over The Border. I can listen to the whole album straight through without skipping songs as opposed to the other album where I feel a bit nit-picky when it comes to "Happy A" which is my least favorite song. The song is nice and all, but just Aimi's high pitch voice does not work for me. Also the last song "Sakune" is great until the song is over and I have to wait nearly 8 minutes in silence if I want to hear the "hidden acoustic track" which does not happen very often.
Over the Border has more of a rockish feel compared to A Hydrangea Blooms and I like that though the first album I enjoy better because it has that variety of rock/cute/sad/uplifting. Not saying I don't hate their second album, but the first one wins me over with Sweet Blue any day.
My rating of A Hydrangea Blooms would be 4/5 and Over the Border I would say 3/5. 4/5 for the first album only because it is too short and effective line is barley under 2 minutes so the song is over before I even realize it. 3/5 for the second album because of Happy A being too girly and the long silence in Sakune I have to wait if I listen by CD and not from my phone.
*Edit* WOW I made a picture with a versus in and but it stretches out the page to long ugh damn comment box. Put it in spoilers instead.

I think i also prefer Hydrangea Blooms to over the border. I think Over the border is an amazing album, but Hydrangea is really what got me into stereopony and with songs like 'i do it' and 'hitohira no hanabira' it just makes it really fun to listen to, not to mention 'very good days' which is probably my favourite song at the moment xD I dont think theres any songs on either album i dislike, but the long pause after 'sakune' is rather annoying, xD sometimes i would leave it on, and the song would finish and 10minutes later music would start randomly playing and surprise me although, over the border has 'Hankbunko' and 'Smilife' both 2 of stereoponys strongest songs imo, so for me it's a pretty close call.

Yeh i guess i like HB album too, the songs were more, say "emotional" i think that's the word. But then OTB was more rocking and pumping. Quite hard to choose though.

After much thinking... I'm surprised to say that I believe Stereopony's debut album is better than OVER THE BORDER in my opinion.
Hydrangea ga Saiteiru starts off strong with "Seishun" and "I do it" (which I believe is still one of the best Stereopony playlist leads) and stays strong up until "Nakanaide" where it slows down a bit. But "Nakanaide" is one of my favorite slower songs by the band, so there's no problem for me there. Both "effective line" and "Sweet Blue" bring us back but then it dies again at "Shiawase" which is another song that's less than 2 minutes long. But at least the album ends strong with "My Mistake," "Hitohira no Hanabira," and "Aozora Very good days!!"
OVER THE BORDER starts out pretty weak with "OVER THE BORDER" (ugh) compared to the other album's more upbeat lead track. But then "Tsukiakari no Michishirube" plays followed by "Smilife" so everything seems alright so far... but then "happy 'A'" just kills it for me. But right after "Never Look Back" plays, so we're back to the upbeatness again, but it doesn't last long since "Tomodachi" slows everything down again. It's a nice song, but it ruins the mood made by "Never Look Back" sort of. "Mousou Jet" used to be one of my favorite songs but I find it annoying now for some reason... Next is "cherry my..." so there's another drop there. Finally "Hanbunko," the fastest song on the album, plays, followed by "Hoshikuzu Kantera" which is a nice couple of songs. And now we get to the last three songs. I really think "100 Pararhythms" should have been the ending track. It just seems out of place to me. "OVER DRIVE" is currently my least favorite single... another low. Finally we get to "Sakune" which ends the album on a low note too, despite being one of my favorite songs. Then there's the bonus track which is also an acoustic song...
HgS starts strong and ends strong while OTB starts weak and ends weak, but more of my favorite songs are in OTB than HgS, so it's really hard to say for sure which album I like better. But overall as an album, I would have to say HgS is better.
Hydrangea ga Saiteiru — 4 out of 5 OVER THE BORDER — 3.5 out of 5

@RSNiteblaze: Wow, very detailed and descriptive. Your answer puts mine to shame lol. I enjoyed reading it and getting your feedback, thanks!
@Dereko92 & KiRya: Thanks you two! Discussion is actually turning out better than I thought which makes me satisfied.

Hydrangea wins hands down, I love the songs on both the tracks but Hydrangea is just something special to me.

Anyone else want to argue for the other side? Haha. It's so one sided right now...

Would you care to explain why you love both? Some details wouldn't hurt.
You too, Cake. Let's get some explanations so we can have some discussion going.
