yo lets all share with each other how we get to know our lovely girls

mine is kinda long so plz be patient and finish reading :D

first, I started watching bleach as my friends around me has been watching it and telling me how good it was. So one day I went to gendou (a place for anime song) and dl all the anime songs from bleach and Basically I deleted everything except for Rolling star (YUI) D-technolife (UVERworld), Hitohira no hanabira (stereopony).

After becoming addicted to rolling star, I decided to dl every song by YUI and I started to like YUI more & more ;) So one day i decided to wiki YUI and found out that she wrote a song for a okinawa girl band... Stereopony... hmm sounds fimiliar to me.... then i rmember I had one song by them in my playlist.. so i went to dl every song by stereopony

The first song I dl was "I do it" after listening to it.... i deleted it and emptied my recycle bin :( as it wasn't very nice to me at that time.. after sometime I decided that I'll give it a try again so I dl all stereopony song again and the first song I listened to this time was Nakanaide and I began to like their song and now I have most of their songs in their playlist except two song which i dun wanna mention.... ;)

and for now... they are my favourite and I also started buying their CD haha..

blar blar blar... thanks for spending your time reading :)

I would like to hear your first encounter with stereopony too so kindly share with me if you have the time :D

I still remember it.. when I was waiting for Darker Than BLACK season 2 come up on anime streaming website. At first I'm not very impressed on Sutepo's song which titled Namida no Mukou (it was their first song I heard, because I saw Gundam OO II LOL). I checked DTB official site, and saw Sutepo's song that will be the opening. Honestly, I'm not impressed at all! I wonder why too..

But after saw the anime, oh my.. I was in love with the opening! Tsukiakari took my heart. LOLOL. I wasn't rush on their songs, I heard their songs one by one, enjoy the rhythm. Tsukiakari then Smilife, then Hanbunko, then I started to hear their old albums and singles. 'I do it' then 'Hydrenga ga Saiteru'. OMG, I love `effective line`. I love that album. Then when OVER THE BORDER released, my likey increased to them.

'Never Look Back' hooked me, 'OVER THE BORDER' made me head-banging. And so on.. So this is me, a fan. >:3

That's cool UvieKuro. I've heard other bands where the first song I heard from them I didn't like, but other songs hook me into liking them. (I also tend to then like the songs I didn't originally like :P)

Since i love Bleach, i discovered Stereopony by listening to "Hitohira no Hanabira" which was one of Bleach's endings. I really liked the song so one day i searched for the full song on youtube and i found out the PV.
It was the first time (i think?) i saw an all female rock band and i was totally amazed by them, especially Shiho who was playing drums and singing at the same time ^^

Starting from that day, i was totally into them, i searched for informations, photos of them and of course new songs ^^

Started to get into them from Namida no Mukou, heard Hitohira no Hanabi didn't capture my attention, and being a YUI fan, when they collabed to do "I Do It", I became even bigger fan from that point onwards. :m048:

I remember first hearing Hitohira no Hanabira on Imeem [the website doesnt exist now tho]
I visited my friend Imeem profile and then that song played in the background. Usually, I would pause or stop such autoplay stuff on sites/pages but no, I didn't. I was completely mesmerized by the music and Aimi's voice. And I know that from that very moment, I would get hooked into this band. and I did. I am glad I got hooked on it and have been able to share lots of things with other StereoPony fans <3

So, I started searching stuff about them, visiting their blog, lurking in the members' blog, watching vids of their LIVE performances , etc.

I never wrote how I discovered them so...

There's an anime news blog that I've followed since I think 1998 or 1999- I kid you not. The guy posted a video of Tsukiakari no Michishirube. My first impression was hey those girls are pretty, hey I like this song...and then....RAIN. And when I saw Aimi's big eyes like that I knew I had to listen to more. I went to youtube, heard HnH and other songs and pretty shortly after that I discovered they were coming to Animenext...which was about 45 minutes away from my house. I bought a VIP pass since I was going to check out the band (not knowing I would be getting pass #7...front row!) So I went, got to meet them, bought their two cds they were selling, got them autographed and listened on my way home...and it didn't leave my cd player for months...

Although Aimi is a very pretty girl that has nothing to do with what I enjoy listening to. I genuinely love their music and, well, having met (twice!!!) makes it all the more special for me.
