Mine was through MetaCafe. Although I heard their song on bleach years ago, I didn't really know them until I saw "Seishun ni Sono Namida ga Hitsuyou da!" on MetaCafe. ^-^ I kinda liked the song, so I looked it up on the net. And then I tried other songs and yay~ became my new addiction since then =D They are really my style ^^

First song I heard is Hitohira no Hanabira, but at that time I have no idea that they are a female band. The song that really made me curious about Stereopony is Tsukiakari no Michishirube from Darker than Black.

My 1st encounter with their music was by some video on youtube about the racial look in anime or whatever, but they were playing "Namida" which kinda drew my attention to the video lol.

I was watching bleach then saw the ending and really enjoyed the song. So I looked up the group band to find their site, but this was way long ago when the single was not even out and their webpage barley had anything on it. I saw the flash pictures that generated the pictures of the band members and noticed that one particular girl who reminded me of Rukia from bleach. She looked really young and pretty along with the other two members I did not know of their names at that time.
In my mind I knew that having one of the popular anime show as an ending song was a great start and the girls definitely had talent. Later when Hitohira no Hanabira promotional video was released, I found out the band members names and liked Stereopony. However, after awhile I drifted away and forgot about Stereopony because I was more into Namie Amuro. I used to work supporting international Japanese music on a Myspace page back in 2006-2009 that was really successful and popular until some haters reported me. From there I pretty much had no purpose in providing music to people anymore.
During that time I was barley starting college and they had an event for music or something. I had worked sometime as a DJ and thought "Hey I should there to play music" When I DJ'd at my school people really loved it and wanted more. I thought a lot about it and decided to make a website designed to support under-rated artists and new ones. That was when I came back across Stereopony and checked to see how they were doing. They seemed to be pretty successful with Namida no Mukou and Tsukiakari no Michishirube, but lacked more American audiences other than from anime. From then on, I got back into Stereopony and have been supporting them ever since making occational BG's or such while also using the website I created to promote Japanese music.

A friend of mine showed me a song. I can't remember which song. At first I wasn't that into them. After I saw them in New Jersey at AnimeNext i got REALLY into them. Now I listen to them everyday.

Lots of bleach fans, huh? Too bad I stopped watching bleach before any of their songs ever appeared on the show xD
I know someone who went to anime boston who mentioned getting an autographed CD from them. I'd never heard of stereopony, so I searched on youtube and promptly fell in love
